Most brides book 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates (spring, summer, and fall weekends). Don’t wait too long—popular weekends go fast.
How do I know if my wedding date is available?
The easiest way is to reach out through my inquiry form and fill out all the requested information. I respond within 24-48 hours so you know exactly what’s available.
What do I need to do to officially book my date?
To lock in your wedding date, a signed contract and $100 deposit are required. Once both are completed, your date is officially reserved on my calendar.

How much does bridal hair cost?
Bridal hair pricing is straightforward so you know exactly what to expect.
Bridal Hair Package: $395 (includes your bridal hair trial and wedding day hairstyling)
Wedding Day Hairstyling: $245 (with no bridal hair trial booked)
Bridesmaids, Mothers & Additional Adult Styling: $140 per person
Is there a minimum number of people required for booking?
Yes, there is a minimum of 5 people for weekend weddings and travel bookings. This helps ensure I can dedicate the right amount of time and planning for your wedding morning.
Do bridesmaids and bridal party members get hair services too?
Yes. I offer styling for bridesmaids, mothers, and anyone else in your bridal party. Everyone will be included in the wedding day timeline so things stay organized and on schedule.
Hair Prep & Expectations
Should I wash my hair before my wedding?
Yes—clean, dry hair is required. I usually recommend washing it the night before or morning of your wedding! I will give you Wedding Day hair prep instructions at your trial and also email you week of your wedding with hair prep instructions to share with the whole bridal party.
What products should I avoid before styling?
Try to avoid heavy oils, leave-in conditioners, or anything that makes your hair too soft or slippery. Those can make it harder for styles to hold.
Can you work with extensions?
Absolutely. Clip-ins or extensions are actually great for adding fullness, volume, and longevity to your style. I also offer clip-in extension rental options.
What if my hair doesn’t hold curls well?
That’s exactly what styling prep, product choice, and technique are for. I customize everything based on your hair type so your style lasts all day.

Do I need a bridal hair trial?
Yes—and I highly recommend it. Your trial is where we bring your vision to life, test how your hair holds, and make sure you feel completely confident going into your wedding day.
When should I schedule my bridal hair trial?
Most brides do their trial about 2–3 months before the wedding. That timing gives us a good window to adjust anything if needed while still being close enough to your actual look.
What should I bring to my hair trial?
Bring inspiration photos, your veil or hair accessories if you have them, and wear something similar to your neckline on wedding day. It helps everything come together visually.
How should I prep my hair for my trial?
Come with clean, dry hair that’s free of heavy product. I will give more detailed instructions when we book your trial, depending on your natural texture!

How do I choose the best bridal hairstyle for my dress?
Your dress neckline, wedding vibe, and personal style all play a role. During your trial, we narrow it down so everything feels cohesive and intentional.

Wedding Day Logistics
How long does bridal hair take on wedding day?
Bridal styling typically takes about an hour, and bridesmaids or additional services are scheduled 30-45 minutes depending if an assistant is booked for the timeline.
How early should everyone be ready on wedding morning?
Your timeline is built backwards from your photographer’s timeline and when you will get dressed. The do also building in a 30 minute buffer from when you will get dressed. Timelines are planned out 30 days in advance from the wedding day. We do use a grab n go timeline!
Do you stay for touch-ups?
Touchups are included at the end of our service timeline to make sure everyone is picture-ready. Additional touch-up can be booked beyond the service timeline for additional hourly fees, which we can add on to your package!
What happens if someone has very thick or long hair?
No stress—extra thick or long hair is totally normal and our timelines always accommodate different hair texture and density!
What if the wedding timeline changes last minute?
Small adjustments happen all the time. I stay flexible where I can, and we’ll adjust together so everything still runs smoothly.
Policies & Experience
What is your cancellation policy?
A signed contract and deposit are required to reserve your date. Cancellations and changes follow the terms outlined in your contract to protect both your wedding date and planning time.
What happens if someone is late on wedding day?
Your timeline is built intentionally with buffer time, but if someone is late, it can impact the overall schedule. I always recommend staying on track so everything stays stress-free. There could be additional fees occurred if the person running late causes hair to be completed past the initial service timeline.
Do you work with makeup artists and other vendors?
Yes—I partner with Hailey’s Artistry for makeup and have also worked with other makeup companies in the area. I also like to contact information for your wedding planner and photographer so we can collaborate on bridal beauty timelines.
What makes your bridal hair services different?
My focus is on calm, organized, on-location bridal mornings where you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. It’s not just about the hairstyle—it’s about the entire experience leading up to your “I do.”
Travel & On-Location Services
Do you travel to wedding venues?
Yes—I specialize in on-location bridal hair, meaning I come directly to wherever you’re getting ready so your morning is relaxed and stress-free.
Is there a travel fee?
Yes, a travel fee applies to locations that are 30 miles or more from my location in Virginia Beach. Travel fee is calculated at $.80 a mile round trip. This covers travel time, mileage, and ensures I can safely and reliably arrive on time for your wedding morning.
What areas do you service?
I’m based in Virginia Beach and provide on-location bridal hairstyling throughout Hampton Roads, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg. I also frequently travel to Richmond, Charlottesville, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina for weddings. If your venue is outside these areas, don’t hesitate to reach out! I love traveling for weddings and am happy to let you know if I’m available for your location.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes, I do accept destination weddings on a case-by-case basis. If you’re planning a wedding outside of Virginia, reach out with details and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
